과거와 현재, 뉴욕과 부산, 시인과 퍼포머를 연결하는 존 지오르노의 역사적인 프로젝트 ‘Dial-A-Poem(1968-2019)’을 선보입니다.

존 지오르노는 시인이자 퍼포먼스 아티스트, 시각 예술가로 알려져 있으며 60년대 뉴욕언더그라운드에서 활동을 시작하며 문학으로 분리되었던 ‘시’를 현대 예술의 영역으로 가져온 장본인으로 일컬어집니다. ‘Dial-A-Poem(1968-2019)’은 135명의 시인과 예술가들이 참여하였으며 MoMA 등 주요 미술관에서 전시되고 소장되어왔습니다. 존 지오르노 재단과의 협업으로 한국에서 최초로 선보이는 작품을 아트부산 2024에서 만나보시길 바랍니다.

We are proud to present the historic project “Dial-A-Poem (1968-2019)” by John Giorno, connecting the past and present, New York and Busan, poets and performers.

John Giorno, known as a poet, performance artist, and visual artist, began his career in the 1960s New York underground scene, where he bridged the gap between literature and contemporary art. “Dial-A-Poem (1968-2019)” involves 135 poets and artists and has been exhibited and collected by major museums such as MoMA. Experience this collaboration with the John Giorno Foundation, presenting for the first time in Korea at ART BUSAN 2024.
